Ancient Times

An endless hunger never satisfied An all consuming force with no end in sight There's no escape cause we're all finite Try your best to survive, it's useless to fight The only way out isn't alive Pay the price with your life All will fall and be buried in the sands of time Head first into oblivion beyond truth and lies Stretched by gravity and constucted by the mind What will you be counting down to tonight? There's a future that we've built on sacrifice All will fall and meet its demise All the eons that have come to pass Are gnawing at the bottom of a throne of glass Shake the foundation and cause distress Forge the scriptures should the stories not last Can you make sense of the dying cries? Will you alter the outcome if you lose the fight? Eternal Slumber

An alternate reality From where there's no escape Unspoken truths and hidden fantasies Hide behind the wall of skin Do you trust the evil within? Is your salvation your indulgence in sin? Do you fear what you can't control? There is no victory for you Fight against time but you're forced to lose As the hourglass decays You slowly fade Not just your memories will be buried deep Will you ever wake up? Will the darkness ever stop? Devoured by the infinite and reduced to dust It's hard to visualize the truth When you see your impending doom But the alpha and omega is you Understand that your days are numbered You'll succumb to this eternal slumber How many cycles till you too go under? Prepare for your eternal slumber Cause it will strike like thunder From finite to infinite From time to timeless Forever, everlasting darkness In the vast embrace of endless night, We flicker briefly, sparks of light Yet here we stand, with hearts so bold, In the cosmic tale, a story told Transient whispers in a boundless sea, Moments cherished, eternally free Finite beings, we dance and strive Impermanent existence, such is our life

World at War

A slow descent into chaos The cities are reduced to ashes and dust Can you choose a side and tell me who to trust? Can you tell me which destruction is just? Everyone is going insane from the pain as all the souls are drained from the inhumane ways that we treat each other Now all their minds are dazed the people displaced they're stuck in maze these war lords are a fucking disgrace Take aim and fire set the citizens ablaze Block the solar rays with the smoke and the flames Close your eyes and ignore all the innocent screams Are your goals achieved? Their nightmare is your dream Create more hate with all the shit you propagate With every debate you find a way to segregate Make no mistake because with everything at stake An uprising will take place and the earth will shake I see the anger in their eyes they like they taste of blood Dancing with the devil but they say they talk to God Reopening these vicious scars Everybody loses in a world at war This world at war World at war There's no way that they can stop us if we'd all unite And it seems we only matter if we join a fight Who gets to choose what's right and drown out the other light The worlds intertwine and battles intensify Will we stand up from the rubble like a Phoenix on the rise? Will we see the sun shine through the dust veiled skies? Empower ourselves and bring the dawn to the night Or will we bide our time until we reach our demise? There is no peace in this accursed world Protect what you love And you'll resort to hate When there's no one left to mediate Watch this fucking world disintegrate It's a shame their unity is such a blatant charade They're dancing with the Devil They're dancing with the devil I see the anger in their eyes they like they taste of blood Dancing with the devil but they say they talk to God Reopening these vicious scars Everybody loses in a world at war Time to turn your nightmare back into a dream A larger war is coming will you fight or flee? Lost at Sea

A careless moment in time On the waters edge while the sun is shining bright Step by step away from the beach Suddenly the ground is swept from under my feet Caught by the undertow pulled into the sea When did it get so deep? I'm going under and before I can speak Every wave pulls me down Down Down (Lost at sea, lost at sea) No one to hear me screaming Screaming out No one to save me I'm on my own (Lost at sea, lost at sea) I'm lost at sea Each breath is a struggle I can't seem to find relief Surrounded by the unknown Desperately trying to escape But there's no reprieve Surrounded by darkness I can't hear a sound Trying to run but there's no solid ground Is this the end? Will this be all I've been? Life has been good to me Is this where I meet my fate?
